Our Founder
meet kris.
Kris embarked on his well-being journey over a decade ago at the Shaolin Temple in China, immersing himself in martial arts and meditation. Over the next 12 years, he explored Eastern philosophy and spirituality across Asia, drawing inspiration from encounters with Tibetan monks in India and yoga training in Bali.
During his years as a personal coach, Kris gained insights into the diverse challenges individuals encounter in their pursuit of well-being.
Recognising the universality of stressors and mental health concerns, Kris felt compelled to extend his support to various communities, including those within educational, tech and consumer settings. Motivated by his experiences and a genuine desire to make a difference, Kris founded Yauga.
With a focus on providing accessible support for mental health in education, Yauga offers digital wellness experiences designed to empower individuals to manage stress, anxiety, and depression, fostering resilience and well-being.
